Where are we?

If you are coming from Reno, Sacramento or San Francisco Bay Area:

• Take Interstate 80 to Truckee

• Get on Highway 89 north

• Turn left on the Gold Lake Highway, one mile before Graeagle

• After driving seven miles, turn right into the Lakes Basin Campground

• Follow the signs to Elwell Lodge (Stay left)

If you are coming from Northwestern California:

• Take Interstate 5 to Red Bluff

• Get on Highway 36 going east

• Highway 36 joins with Highway 89

• Stay on Highway 89 until you pass Graeagle (About 100 miles)

• About a mile past Graeagle, turn right on the Gold Lake Highway

• After driving seven miles, turn right into the Lakes Basin Campground

• Follow the signs to Elwell Lodge (Stay left)

If you are coming from Northeastern California:

• Get on Federal 395 going south

• About 30 miles before Reno, (at Hallelujah Junction) turn right on Highway 70

• 10 miles past Portola, turn left on Highway 89

• About a mile past Graeagle, turn right on the Gold Lake Highway

• After driving seven miles, turn right into the Lakes Basin Campground

• Follow the signs to Elwell Lodge (Stay left)
